How Shanthi Senior Residence handles the personal and health information held in this system.
Who this covers
This applies to residents of Shanthi Senior Residence, their nominated family contacts, and staff who use the management system.
What the system holds
- Resident identity and contact details, and the same for nominated family contacts.
- Health information — allergies, conditions, prescriptions and the record of medicines given.
- Admission, room and care-package records, and the signed residency agreement.
- Billing records: invoices, payments and any concessions applied.
- Documents uploaded during registration, such as proof of identity.
Who can see it
Access is restricted by role. Care staff see the clinical record of residents in their care; administrators see records relevant to their work; a family contact given portal access sees the information for their own resident and no other. Every family contact's access is granted individually by the facility and can be withdrawn at any time.
Correcting your information
You may ask to see the information held about you or your resident, and to have anything inaccurate corrected. Contact the facility to do so.
